Jeni, you just reminded me how much i liked Friday and The Wood. Forgot to add those.
As for Irvine's good eats, there really wasn't too much except for A&J, Nice Time Deli and the two korean joints on Culver/Walnut. A lot of ppl liked Philly's Best but i wasn't into that. I also went down to Bolsa for my usual Vietnamese fix. Mmm.
Where can I get good Okonomiyaki say in Lil' Tokyo or West LA? I'm sure Torrance/Gardena have lots but I rarely go down there. I still haven't tried that dish out.
Dylan...AAAW...I love the Wood and Friday! As far as okonomiyaki, man, I don't know. Notice how I rarely review Japanese food? It's because I usually feel disappointed. :( I've had a hard time adjusting to Japanese food here. It's hard when I've had the 'best' as your staple in Japan and then I come back here and I mostly get mediocre/nice try Japanese grub. Kinda like how Philly people here are never happy with Philly Cheesesteaks in LA. :( I'll ask around for good okonomiyaki. I'm starting to miss it too!
Hey!
I already did this one so thanks for the tag, but I'm off the hook;)
