Jeni in SD

Our crazy girlfriend Koko took us out to Old Town Mex Cafe for dinner. Skip dinner and just order the OTMC Queso Cheese Dip...Queso Mexicano and jack cheese baked with chorizo and rajas, sautéed onions and chiles. That dip was the bomb. Chorizo and cheese is dang good. That chicken was was tender but I just wished it had that chicken kick. Man...all this chicken talk has me thinking about Zankou's and a long awaited visit to Pollo a la Brasa!

The next morning, Koko took us out to Cheese Shop in La Jolla Shores. The Cheese Store carried cheese, sandwiches, and lots of foreign and old school candy & chocolates. After ordering our sandwiches, we headed out the beach for some last minute buddy time before Laurie headed back on a place to Vancouver.

Corned beef with melted provolone with spicy (clears out that nose) honey mustard on sourdough from the Cheese Shop. For $7, this sandwich was so worth it. ~oishii~ San Diego. Good times and oishii grub with old JET friends!

mmmm.....that sandwich looks so good.. dunno why but why is it that Reubens at hotels always taste the best... hmmm

cheese dip.. sounds good too...mmmm

good ole cheese... my best friend and worst enemy... its a love hate relationship.. ;P

Mmm...Cheeeeese. Love it! But too much of it makes my tummy hurt. Darn the lactose intolerance! ;)

DCCF and Kristy...cheese messes me up too. Ohhh...but it's so worth it!
